Football's 2024 Schedule Announced

COLLEGE PARK, Md. -- The 2024 University of Maryland football schedule has been finalized, the Big Ten Conference announced on Thursday. The Terrapins schedule includes seven home games, highlighted by league matchups with Michigan State, Northwestern, USC, Rutgers and Iowa.

Maryland will begin its 2024 slate with consecutive home games at SECU Stadium. The Terps will welcome UConn for their season-opener on August 31 and then kick off Big Ten play on September 7 against Michigan State. It will mark the earliest date that Maryland has ever played a Big Ten game and it'll be the earliest date the Terps have played a conference game since Sept. 5, 2011 when they hosted Miami as members of the ACC.

Maryland will travel to Virginia on September 14 and then wrap-up non-conference play at home the following weekend against Villanova on September 21.

The Terps will play their first conference road game on September 28 at Indiana before returning to College Park for back-to-back home games against Northwestern (October 12) and USC (October 19). The game against the Trojans will be the first all-time meeting between the programs.

Maryland will then play consecutive road games for the only time during the season, traveling to Minnesota on October 26 and Oregon on November 9. It'll be the first ever matchup between the Terps and Ducks in football.

Maryland wraps up its home slate with games against Rutgers (November 16) and Iowa (November 23) before concluding the regular season at Penn State on November 30.
