The Facilities, Operations & Events Coordinator will be vital to the Facilities, Operations & Events Management Team in game management, facility changeover, and special projects. This position acts as the Facility Manager for the Field Hockey & Lacrosse Complex, Softball Stadium, and Tyser Tower Suites.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Â Sports liaison for Maryland Field Hockey, Wrestling, and Softball. Specific duties include student and support staff management to conduct setups, breakdowns, and projects. This position will involve staff coordination of approximately 150 customer service staff, special events to include B1G Ten and NCAA Championships, and other duties as assigned by the Assistant Director.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and experience in event management. Computer experience preferred (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Must be able to work evenings and weekends—strong verbal, written, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Salary: $18.00 hourly; OT eligible.
