Terps Drop Match To No. 14 Penn State

COLLEGE PARK, MD -- In its penultimate match of the season, Maryland fell to No. 14 Penn State in straight sets (20-25, 9-25, 12-25) at the XFINITY Center Pavilion on Wednesday night.
The first set was back-and-forth between the Terps and Nittany Lions, with Maryland cutting it to 19-17 late before Penn State pulled away, winning the set and taking control of the match.
Samantha Schnitta and Erin Morrissey led the way for the Terps with seven kills apiece. Penn State finished with 14 service aces.
