COLLEGE PARK, MD --
Josie Hollamon and
Alyssa Klebasko were selected as members of the 2023 Big Ten All-Tournament Team, the conference announced Sunday.
Freshman defender
Josie Hollamon earns the selection as a piece of the stellar defense the Terps showcased over the weekend. The Delmar, Delaware native played key roles in field play and as a member of the defensive penalty corner unit. Maryland only surrendered two goals across three games during the B1G Tournament.
Alyssa Klebasko, a freshman goalkeeper, makes the All-Tournament team after three poised performances in goal. Klebasko combined 15 saves across three games, including nine in the championship game on Sunday. Klebasko was named to the All-Big Ten Second Team earlier this week for her performance in the regular season.
Maryland returns to action as they kick off NCAA Tournament play on Friday, Nov. 10. The location, opponent, time and broadcast information of the first-round game will be announced on the NCAA's tournament selection show, which will be broadcast on Sunday night at 10:00 p.m. on ncaa.com.
