CORALVILLE, IA — No. 22 Maryland Gymnastics posted a 195.900 on Saturday, standing in fifth place at the 2023 Big Ten Championships after the first session of day. Minensota finished first with a 197.250, ahead of Illinois (196.800), Nebraska (196.275), Penn State (196.200) and Rutgers (195.125).
The Terps started the meet with a strong rotation on floor, posting a 49.075. Taylor Osterhout led Maryland with a 9.850, followed by both Reese McClure and Emma Silberman each posting a 9.825.
Maryland rotated to vault with both Josephine Kogler and Alexsis Rubio recording 9.825 scores to lead Maryland's team total of 48,900
The Terps moved to bars, posting a 49.100 team score, with Aleka Tsiknias notching a 9.875 to lead the team. Sierra Konda scored 9.850 and Rhe LeBlanc posted a 9.825.
Maryland closed the meet on beam with Reese McClure led Maryland with a 9.850 while Olivia Weir and Elizabeth Debarberie each had 9.775.
Emma Silberman finished first in the all-around with a 39.025.
