College Park, MD -- The Big Ten Network has announced television selections for the upcoming Maryland field hockey season. The Terrapins will play in three Big Ten Network matches throughout their 2023 schedule.
 
The Terps will start their network coverage with a conference home opener against Penn State on Sunday, Oct. 1 at 2 p.m.

Later in the month, Maryland will travel to Ann Arbor for a 4 p.m. contest with Michigan on Oct. 13. The last time these two programs met, the Terrapins pulled out a 1-0 overtime victory in College Park over the then-No. 8 Wolverines.

The Terps will conclude the regular season at Northwestern for a 4 p.m slate on Oct. 26. Maryland holds a 19-13 series lead over the Wildcats, with their last win coming from a 2-1 overtime victory during the 2022 season.
 
Maryland field hockey will begin their regular season on Friday, Aug. 25 at 3 p.m against Stanford.
