Coach Nemzer's Take
"I thought overall the first 45 minutes we stuck to our gameplan, and we came out with a lot of energy. I thought we responded well from our last game. I thought we were very good in the first half, and when we went into halftime, we knew they were going to press us. I think that would be my only thing is being able to handle that comes with experience in being able to recognize that we can't play into the press. We have to play over it and play soccer in their half. We need to use this and use the film to learn and grow. But I am proud of their resiliency. To let up three and come back and get that third one, it shows a lot of growth especially for a young team. We also put three in the back of the net at the end of the day. Everyone has been questioning if we can score, and we showed we can score. Now we have to clean up those little pieces on the defensive side now."
Madison Krakower on Scoring her First Collegiate Goal
"Honestly, we've played so many games and I've just been waiting for this moment. I think for me it was so exciting and to have all my teammates being supportive and everyone on the sideline cheering made the whole entire experience everything a girl could ever dream of."
