• Goalkeeper: Laurin Mack

• Jace Clark sent a header toward the net that missed right in the 23rd minute, giving the Terps an early scoring opportunity.
• Late in the 44th minute, a foul within the box led to a penalty kick goal for Rutgers. It led 1-0 at the half.
• Matias De Jesus had a near goal-tying opportunity that was blocked by a Rutgers player in the 53rd minute.
• Colin Griffith put Maryland's second shot on goal in the 56th minute, which was saved low-centered by Rutgers's goalkeeper.
• In the 59th minute, De Jesus created another scoring chance with a nice stop-and-go move to create a low shot that was saved.
• Rutgers scored their second goal off a deflection in the 62nd minute.
• De Jesus connected with a low shot to the net, making it a one-score game in the 71st minute.
• Less than two minutes later, a free-kick opportunity saw Max Rogers nearly tie the game with a shot that missed high of the upper net.
• Laurin Mack made a huge low save in the 75th minute to keep the Terps down by one goal.
• Clark nearly netted the equalizer a minute later, but his shot went just high on the net. 
• Rutgers scored in the 86th minute off their second pk goal of the night.
