COLLEGE PARK, MD - Six Maryland women's soccer student-athletes earned College Sports Communicators Academic All-District selection.

Kennedy Bell,
Halle Johnson,
Ava Morales,
Kelsey Smith, and
Tahirah Turnage-Morales were each honored for their outstanding athletic and academic achievements. The CSC Academic All-District Teams recognizes the nation's top student-athletes annually for their performances on the field and in the classroom. Academic All-District honorees are considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced in early December.
Liz Beardsley started all 19 games in goal for the Terps, making 74 saves and posting five shutouts. Beardsley's 11 shutouts at Maryland are the ninth-most in a career for a goalkeeper in program history. Kennedy Bell added to an already impressive career in her sophomore year. Bell made 18 starts, tying for the team lead with three goals and added two assists. In her final season in College Park, Halle Johnson started and played in a career-high 15 matches totaling over 1,000 minutes in the Terps backline. Ava Morales played in all 19 games for Maryland this season, while making 11 starts. Morales was tied for second on the team with two assists, which were the junior's first collegiate assists. Kelsey Smith also played in all 19 games, making 14 starts. Smith finished the season with two goals and two assists, getting in on the scoresheet in both categories for the first time in her career. Tahirah Turnage-Morales played and started in all 19 games for the Terps, proving to be an important member in the defense after missing last season with an injury while being second on the team with 1,612 minutes played..
