FORT WORTH, TEXAS -- The University of Maryland women's tennis team finished competition at the TCU Jae Foundation Fall Open this weekend. The Terrapins competed in singles and doubles competition over three days from Friday Nov. 1 to Sunday Nov. 3.

"We're very happy with how the team competed this past weekend at TCU, tough competition across the board all 3 days with the type of teams we'll see all spring season," said Head Coach Katie Dougherty. "It was great to see how we matched up against these teams and gain confidence going into the spring."

"Coach Walker at TCU made this a very special event benefiting the JAE Foundation and continuing to de stigmatize the conversations around mental health- not just for student-athletes but coaches as well," said Coach Dougherty

The Terrapins weekend was highlighted by Ema Kovacevic, Tamari Gagoshidze and Kallista Liu going undefeated in single competition. The Terrapins went 8-11 overall in singles play and 2-4 in doubles competition.
