
Kline, Njoku Wrap Up Competition on National Stage

ALBUQUERQUE, NM - Both Jeff Kline and Chioma Njoku competed at USATF Indoor Championships this afternoon, with Kline competing in the men's shot put and Njoku in the women's weight throw.
Njoku surpassed the 20 meter mark in her final attempt in the event, throwing 20.15m, competing at the USATF Indoor Championships for the first time.
Kline, competing in Albuquerque for the second straight year, threw a season's best on his second attempt, tossing 19.48m, which is further than any other toss in the Maryland all-time top ten in the event, outside of his own school record of 19.65m. Kline finishrd in the top eight throwers after the first three throws, moving onto the finals, where he would eventually finish in seventh place.
Next Up: The Terps will be back next weekend in Geneva, Ohio for the Big Ten Indoor Championships
