A strong stretch
-
Under head coach
Michael Locksley, the Terps have gone through a strong stretch of results over the last few seasons. With a win over Auburn in the 2023 TransPerfect Music City Bowl, Maryland has won a bowl game in three straight seasons for the first time in program history. It was also the first time Maryland has played in a bowl game for three consecutive years since 2006-08.
-
The Terps have won at least seven games for three consecutive seasons, marking the first time since 2001-03 that Maryland has won seven or more games in three straight seasons. Maryland also won eight games in back-to-back seasons for the first time since 2002-03.
-
Over the last two seasons, Maryland has won 16 games, the fifth-highest mark among Big Ten teams. Only Michigan, Ohio State, Penn State and Iowa have more wins in that span.
-
The Terps' 16 All-Big Ten selections in 2023 were the program's most since joining the Big Ten in 2014.
