Terrapins to Open Fall Slate at Cougar Classic

COLLEGE PARK, MD -- The Maryland women's golf team will compete in the Cougar Classic this weekend at Yeamans Hall Club in Charleston, S.C.
The Terps will play Monday, Sept. 8 and Tuesday, Sept. 9. They will play 36 holes on Monday and 18 on Tuesday. The course is a par 71 and covers 6269 yards. Live scoring will be available here.
Freshman Chananyu Chowiwattana, sophomore Julia Garcia, junior Nicha Kanpai, senior Panassaya Somchit and graduate student Karla Elena Vázquez Setzer will compete for the Terps.
The Terrapins will compete against tournament-host Charleston, Virginia Tech, Penn State, Florida, Ole Miss, Georgia Southern, SMU, LSU, Georgetown, NC State, Boston College, UGA, UT Knoxville, Auburn and Furman.
