IRVING, Texas – Four Terrapins are set to represent the University of Maryland at the 100
th edition of the East-West Shrine Bowl, the nation's oldest college football all-star game, on Thursday at 8 p.m. EST at AT&T Stadium in Arlington.

Tommy Akingbesote and
Jordan Phillips, defensive back
Glendon Miller and wide receiver
Kaden Prather have been performing in front of NFL scouts at practices all week and are set to play in the game tomorrow.
Akingbesote started all 12 games for the Terps on the defensive line in 2024. He was the team's leading tackler among defensive linemen with 32 total tackles. A Largo, Maryland native, Akingbesote added 5.0 tackles for loss, a sack, forced fumble and fumble recovery to his stat line during his senior season.
Miller finished the season with three interceptions, tied for both the sixth-most in the Big Ten and the most on the Terps. Miller also added 39 tackles, 3.0 tackles for loss, two pass breakups and a fumble recovery. The redshirt senior from Orange Park, Florida had a four-game streak with an interception dating back to the 2023 season, the longest for a Maryland player since 1999.
Phillips started all 12 games for the Terps during his redshirt sophomore season, leading all defensive linemen on the team with 17 solo tackles. On the year, Phillips had 29 total tackles, including a career-high eight stops against Iowa. In two seasons for the Terps, Phillips appeared in all 25 games with 23 starts.
Prather started all 12 games for the Terps during his senior season. He ranked second on the team and 11
th in the Big Ten with 56 receptions. His 624 receiving yards and four touchdown grabs each ranked second on the squad.
This marks the second consecutive year Maryland has sent four players to the East-West Shrine Bowl.
