NEW YORK, NY -- The University of Maryland women's tennis team lost to Columbia 4-1 on Friday.
Columbia opened the match by taking the No. 2 and No. 3 doubles matches to secure the doubles point and a 1-0 lead.
Columbia then added to their lead, taking the No. 2 singles match 6-0, 6-2 to make it 2-0.
Kallista Liu got the Terps on the board, taking the No. 1 singles match 6-3, 6-2 to cut Columbia's lead to 2-1.
Columbia then took the No. 3 singles match to go up 3-1.
Sophia Wang defeated
Oliwia Orlinska in a hard fought No. 4 singles match to clinch the 4-1 win for Columbia.
