Laurin Mack have been named Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week and Big Ten Goalkeeper of the Week, respectively for Maryland's win over No. 13 Michigan.
With the score tied at zero entering the second half,
Leon Koehl scored the game winning goal on a penalty kick 10 minutes into the second half to put the Terps up. 16 minutes later, the midfielder recorded an assist on a goal by
Stephane Njike that put Maryland up by two over the Wolverines. Koehl ranks fifth in the nation with three goals on penalty kicks this season.
Sophomore goalkeeper
Laurin Mack has been named Big Ten Goalkeeper of the Week for the second time in the 2025 season for his performance in Maryland's shutout victory vs. No. 13 Michigan. Mack also added three saves.
The Terps hold a 7-0-3 record, their best start to a season since 2017 and are one of eight unbeaten teams in D1 men's soccer. Maryland will be back in action tonight at Ludwig Field in front of the Crew on to host No. 13 Rutgers. Tickets can be found
