
No. 22 USC Defeats Maryland In Three Sets

The Terps fell to the Trojans on Thursday night.
LOS ANGELES, CA — The Terps lost a rough road match against the No. 22 Trojans late Thursday night in three sets (25-12. 25-14, 25-18). Each set was closer than its predecessor, but USC continued its trend of success on its home court, downing Maryland in a conference match.
USC stormed out of the gate on its home court, snagging a 25-12 first set win. The second set largely resembled the first as the Trojans used a collection of runs to earn a 25-14 win and move a set away from victory.
Ajack Malual and Olivia Ruy both collected a team-high five kills. Jonna Spohn picked up a pair of aces and five digs on the night.
Set 1:
