
Terps Fall to No. 24 Indiana In Three Sets

Maryland volleyball ran into a talented Hoosiers squad on Halloween night in the Schanwald Pavilion.
COLLEGE PARK, MD — The Terps fell on Halloween to the No. 24 Indiana Hoosiers in three sets (25-19, 25-15, 25-12) on Friday night in the Schanwald Pavilion. The Hoosiers (17-4, 8-3 Big Ten) benefited from several lengthy runs in each set as they defeated Maryland (8-13, 1-10 Big Ten) on its home floor.
Ajack Malual collected eight kills, five digs and an ace to add to her impressive first season in the Big Ten. Duru Gökçen and Eva Rohrbach tallied a pair of blocks to continue to climb the conference's leader board.
Indiana utilized 10 total aces on Friday to overshadow a 10-dig night from Ally Williams that featured an ace of her own. The Terps will head on the road for a match against Northwestern as they look to earn a split on the week.
