The Terps fell on the road on Friday night to a talented Boilermakers squad.
WEST LAFAYETTE, IN — The Terps ran into a tough Purdue opponent on Friday night and the No. 9 Boilermakers (22-3, 13-2 Big Ten) dealt Maryland (8-17, 1-14) a three-set loss (25-19, 25-17, 25-18) despite 11 kills from Ajack Malual.

- A Haley Melby kill got the night's scoring started.
- Rohrbach earned her first kill to even the set at 3-3.
- Maryland used a 5-1 run to take a 10-9 lead as Maual, Gökçen and Bryant tallied kills.

- Two kills from Maual cut Purdue's lead to 20-18.
- The Boilermakers pulled away late for a 25-19 set win.
