Ajack Malual surpassed 900-career kills, but Maryland fell to the ranked Golden Gophers on Friday night.
COLLEGE PARK, MD — Maryland lost to a good Golden Gophers squad in three sets (25-16, 25-11, 25-13) at the Schanwald Pavilion on Friday night. No. 19 Minnesota (20-8, 10-7 Big Ten) used a .391 hitting percentage to defeat the Terps (8-19, 1-16 Big Ten), despite Ajack Malual's milestone night.
Malual recorded five kills on Friday night to surpass the 900-career kill mark in her senior season. She also added seven digs and an ace to her season totals on Friday night.First ace of the day from AJ ‼️
