COLLEGE PARK, MD -- Each week during the 2025-26 season a Maryland student-athlete, who has shown excellence on and off the playing field, will be selected as the Solomon Eye Physicians & Surgeons Terp of the Week.
This week's Terp of the Week is Laurin Mack of the men's soccer team (13-1-3).Â
The Big Ten Goalkeeper of the Year lifted Maryland to the NCAA Tournament Third Round, scoring the decisive penalty kick to advance the Terps past North Carolina, 4-3 in PKs. The goalkeeper made two saves in the PK round in addition to scoring the winning goal. He also made three saves in the game's regulation and overtime periods.
The Third Round of the NCAA Tournament will resume on Saturday, Nov. 23 as No. 4 Maryland will host No. 13 UConn at 1:00 pm at Ludwig Field. The match will be streamed on ESPN+.
