COLLEGE PARK, MD -- The University of Maryland Women's Tennis team has announced its Spring 2026 schedule. After a stellar fall season, members of the Terps will compete in non-conference and conference matchups throughout the winter and spring.
January:
The Terps will open their spring season hosting a doubleheader on January 18 against Georgetown and Howard. The week after, they will head to Athens to play Georgia on January 24, setting up a matchup against either Washington State or San Diego State in the finale. The last match in January will be at home against Old Dominion on January 30.
February:
The team will start on the road in February, at William & Mary on February 7. This will lead to a three-match homestand, beginning with a Richmond and Loyola doubleheader on February 14 and James Madison on February 18. The month will be wrapped up in Charlotte, North Carolina, with a matchup against the 49ers on February 22.
March:
On March 1, Maryland will face Pennsylvania at home. Next up, the Terps will open up Big Ten play with a West Coast trip, heading to Eugene to play against Oregon on March 6 and Seattle to play against Washington on March 8. The next three matches will be at home, with a Rutgers matchup on March 14 and the two bouts versus Wisconsin and Minnesota on March 21 and 22. March will finish with two road matches, against Penn State on March 27 and Ohio State on March 29.
April:
April will be the final month of competition in the spring regular season, beginning with home matchups against Purdue on April 3 and Indiana on April 5. This will lead to another road trip to the state of Michigan, with matches in Ann Arbor on April 11 and in East Lansing on April 12. The final two matchups will be at home, where the Terps will host Northwestern on April 17 and Illinois on April 19.Â
May:
The spring season will wrap up with the Big Ten Championships, hosted by Ohio State from April 22 to April 26, and the NCAA Championships from May 1 to May 3.
