Riegger Leads Terps at Schenkel Invitational

STATESBORO, GA -- Sophomore Emil Riegger tied for 13th individually to lead Maryland at the Schenkel Invitational at Forest Heights Country Club in Statesboro, Ga.
Riegger went two strokes under overall with a score of 214 (69-70-75). Riegger birdied or parred 52 of the 54 holes in the event. He picked up his fourth top 20 finish this season.
Freshman Benjamin Siriboury tied for 52nd and earned a score of 222 (77-75-70), which was +6. Senior Florian Huerlimann shot a 229 (77-80-72). Freshman Will Gregware earned a score of 232 (79-78-75) and sophomore Manato Nakatani shot a 235 (79-78-78).
As a team, the Terps earned an overall score of 895 (302-301-292).
Next, the Terps will host the Testudo Cup April 5-6 at the PB Dye Course in Ijamsville, Md.
