
Riegger Leads Terps at Lewis Chitengwa Memorial

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA -- Sophomore Emil Riegger finished tied for eighth to lead the Maryland men's golf team at the Lewis Chitengwa Memorial event at the Birdwood Golf Course in Charlottesville.
Riegger went even with a score of 213 (69-74-70) and picked up his third top 10 finish of the year. Senior Florian Huerlimann tied for 38th with a score of 219 (68-74-77), which was +6. Freshman Benjamin Siriboury tied for 39th with a score of 220 (71-72-77), which was +7.
Sophomore Manato Nakatani shot a 230 (77-76-77) and freshman Will Gregware earned a score of 231 (75-77-79).
Competing as an individual, junior Armand Papaziani shot a 252 (87-80-85).
As a team, Maryland finished with a score of 880 (283-296-301), which was +28.
Next, the Terps will compete in the Big Ten Championships April 25-27 at Baltimore Country Club.
