WINSTON-SALEM, NC - The Maryland men's soccer match with No. 6 Wake Forest has been canceled at halftime due to excessive lightning in the Winston-Salem area. The match will not continue, despite Maryland leading the No. 6-ranked team in the nation after 45 minutes of action. Maryland got the lone goal from senior Sadam Masereka in the ninth minute of play.
