COLLEGE PARK, MD -- The Maryland Women's Tennis team was represented by
Aida Eissa and
Katherine Hung at the Bedford Cup, played at the Junior Tennis Champions Center this weekend.
"Katherine and Aida did a nice job this weekend competing and getting the fall underway," said head coach Katie Doughtery. "They were able to implement a lot of what we've been working on these past couple of weeks and working through the beginning-of-the-year nerves."
Eissa and Hung represented the Terrapins in their first tournament of the fall slate. See the rest of the

Over the three days of matches in singles, Eissa went 2-2 and Hung went 2-0. On Friday, Eissa and Hung went 4-0 combined.
The pair did not participate in doubles play.
