COLLEGE PARK, MD -- Rocket Ritarita was named the men's soccer Big Ten Freshman of the Week for his dominate performance in the Terps 4-0 win vs. Pacific on Saturday, Sept. 6.
The freshman scored his first career goal in Maryland's win and also added two assists in just 28 minutes of action vs. Pacific. Ritarita has recorded four assists in three games this season, good for a 1.33 assists per game average which is the highest mark in the NCAA. The Terps moved to 3-0-1 on the season, as they are unbeaten through four games for the first time since 2022.
Up Next: The Terps will travel to Madison, Wis. to take on the Badgers on Friday, September 12. The match will be streamed on B1G+ and kickoff is scheduled for 8:00 p.m. ET.
