
Maryland Volleyball Celebrates Five-Set Win Over Northwestern

The Terps earned their second conference win of the season to remain unbeaten in the Stephen M. Schanwald Pavilion.
COLLEGE PARK, MD — Maryland secured its second Big Ten victory of the season with a five-set win (25-19, 18-25, 25-18, 17-25, 19-17) over Northwestern on Saturday night. Maryland' remarkable rally moved the Terps to 12-5 (2-4 Big Ten) and 7-0 at the Stephen M. Schanwald Pavilion in 2026.
After Maryland rallied from down 14-11 in the fifth set, the two squads battled — as they had all night — to a decisive 19-17 Terps victory to seal the night. Ava Brown delivered the match-winning kill as Maryland stormed back.
