COLLEGE PARK, MD — Each week during the 2026-27 season, a Maryland student-athlete who has demonstrated excellence both in and outside of competition is voted on by supporters of Maryland Athletics as the Solomon Eye Physicians & Surgeons Terp of the Week. This week's honoree is freshman Brooklynne Brass.
Brass posted 34 kills and 34 digs to lead Maryland volleyball to a split on the weekend, with both matches going five sets. Brooklynne recorded a double-double in both matches, finishing with at least 10 kills and 10 digs in each contest.
Brass tallied 19 kills and 18 digs in Maryland's 3-2 win over Northwestern on Saturday, helping the Terps secure their second Big Ten victory of the season.
The Terps head on the road to face No. 6 Wisconsin on Friday night at 8 p.m. ET before taking on No. 21 Minnesota on Saturday at 8 p.m. ET. Both matches will stream on Big Ten Plus.
