COLLEGE PARK, MD – Maryland football will be represented by offensive lineman Alan Herron and defensive back Jalen Huskey at the 2026 NFL Scouting Combine, which is scheduled for February 23–March 2 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
Maryland has sent 18 players to the NFL Scouting Combine over the last four years, with 13 Terps drafted since 2023. Six Terrapins were selected in the 2025 NFL Draft, the 11th-most of any program nationally and Maryland's highest single-draft total since 1986.
2026 NFL Scouting Combine On-Field Workout Schedule
Thursday, Feb. 26 – Kickers, Defensive Linemen, Linebackers
Friday, Feb. 27 – Defensive Backs, Tight Ends
Saturday, Feb. 28 – Running Backs, Quarterbacks, Wide Receivers
Sunday, March 1 – Offensive Linemen
Herron earned Honorable Mention All-Big Ten recognition after starting all 12 games at right tackle during the 2025 season. A native of Westmoreland, Jamaica, he anchored an offensive line that allowed just nine sacks, tied for fifth-fewest nationally and second-fewest in the Big Ten. Herron started all 24 games over his two seasons in College Park and competed in both the Panini Senior Bowl and American Bowl All-Star Game in January.
Huskey garnered Second Team All-Big Ten honors in his final season with the Terps. He appeared in all 12 games with 11 starts, helping Maryland record its most interceptions since 2010. Huskey totaled four interceptions — tied for the team lead, tied for fourth in the Big Ten and tied for 16th nationally — while adding 72 tackles, second on the team and sixth-most among conference defensive backs. He also participated in the East-West Shrine Bowl in January.
