COLLEGE PARK, MD – The University of Maryland football program has officially signed wide receiver Na'eem Abdul-Rahim Gladding, it was announced on Tuesday.

The 6-foot, 198-pound playmaker joins the Terps after a breakout 2025 season at Old Dominion, where he earned All-Sun Belt Honorable Mention honors. A Brooklyn, N.Y., native, Abdul-Rahim Gladding started all 13 games and emerged as the Monarchs' top receiving threat, leading the team with 51 receptions, 667 receiving yards and six touchdowns while averaging 13.1 yards per catch in 2025.

Abdul-Rahim Gladding, who led ODU in receiving eight times during his sophomore season, delivered several standout performances in 2025. He had a seven-catch, 101-yard, three-touchdown effort in a win over Coastal Carolina and a career-high eight receptions for 105 yards and a touchdown in a victory over Appalachian State. He also produced against Power Conference competition, recording four receptions in the opener at Indiana and hauling in a touchdown at Virginia Tech. Abdul-Rahim Gladding added five catches for 54 yards against Liberty and closed the season with five receptions for 60 yards in a Cure Bowl win over South Florida.

In 2024, Abdul-Rahim Gladding appeared in eight games with one start, contributing primarily on special teams before expanding his role late in the season. He finished the year with two receptions for 18 yards and a touchdown against Marshall and made his first career start in the season finale at Arkansas State.

Abdul-Rahim Gladding attended Stone Bridge High School, the same school as former Terp All-American wide receiver Tai Felton. While at Stone Bridge, Abdul-Rahim Gladding totaled 42 receptions for 1,100 yards and 16 touchdowns as a senior, earning All-District and All-Region honors while helping lead his team to a state championship game appearance.

Abdul-Rahim Gladding has two years of eligibility remaining.
