STATESBORO, GA -- Junior
Emil Riegger picked up his third top 10 finish on the year this weekend with a seventh place to lead Maryland at the Schenkel Invitational at the Forest Heights Country Club in Statesboro, Ga.
Riegger shot a 209 (68-73-68), which was -7 overall. He made 15 birdies and one eagle in the 54-hole event. He finished in the top 10 individually in his third straight event.
Freshman
Griffin Barke shot a score of 219 (72-74-73), which was +3. He tied for 43rd in the individual standings. Sophomore
Will Gregware earned a score of 221 (75-76-70), which was +5. Freshman Caden Piselly earned a score of 222 (75-74-73), which was +6. Freshman
Cade Kriscunas finished with a score of 231 (76-80-75).
As a team, the Terrapins tied with Indiana for 12th out of 15 teams competing with a score of 871 (290-297-284), which was +7.
Next, Maryland will compete in the Bell Bank "Pay It Forward" Intercollegiate in Phoenix, Ariz. March 23-24.
