
Incoming Terp Wins Spanish U18 Title

MALAGA, SPAIN -- Maryland women's golf incoming freshman Carolina Perez-Tasso Rodriguez won the Spanish U-18 Women's Championship with weekend Real Club de Golf Guadalmina in Malaga.
Perez-Tasso Rodriguez recorded scores of 70-70-68-74 and went -6 overall. She finished six strokes ahead of the runner-up. She made 15 birdies with an eagle in the 72-hole event.
Fellow incoming Terrapin Noa Zocco also won the Italian U18 Championship in the fall.
Next, this year's Maryland team will compete in the Clemson Invitational this weekend in Sunset, S.C.
