ANN ARBOR, MI – The University of Maryland women's tennis team loses to #15-Ranked Michigan 4-0 in the Terps' tenth Big Ten match of the season.
In the doubles round, Michigan earned the point after winning the first two doubles matches.
In singles, the Terps got first-set victories from
Oliwia Orlinska and
Tamari Gagoshidze, and a second-set win from
Emma Ghirardato; however, the Wolverines were able to secure the first three singles victories, clinching the win.
Diya Challa,
Tamari Gagoshidze, and
Emma Ghirardato's matches went unfinished.
The match was called after the clinch.
The Terps are now 14-5 altogether and 6-4 in Big Ten matches.
