Gregware, Riegger Named to PING All-Region Team

COLLEGE PARK, MD -- Sophomore Will Gregware and junior Emil Riegger of the Maryland men's golf team were named to the NCAA Division I PING All-Northeast Region Team Saturday.

Gregware competed in all 10 events for the Terrapins this year and carried an average of 72.30. He picked up two top 10 finishes, three top 20 finishes. Gregware made 79 birdies with an eagle on the year. Gregware set a new career-low of 67 in a round and a new 54-hole score of 207.

This is Riegger's second straight PING All-Region honor. Riegger was named to the All-Big Ten Second Team for the second straight year by the league's head coaches earlier this month. He racked up nine top 20 finishes, six top 10 finishes and two individual titles in the Terps' 10 events this season. Riegger is the first Terp to win two events in a season since 2016. He tied his career-low 54-hole score of 206 twice this season.
