
Riegger Named PING Division I Honorable Mention All-American

NORMAN, OK -- Junior Emil Riegger of the Maryland men's golf team was named a PING Division I Honorable Mention All-American Wednesday.
This is Riegger's first All-America honor and he is the Terps' first All-American since Del Ponchock in 1994.
Riegger and teammate Will Gregware were named to the PING All-Region Team last month.
Riegger was named to the All-Big Ten Second Team for the second straight year by the league's head coaches in May. He racked up nine top 20 finishes, six top 10 finishes and two individual titles in the Terps' 10 events this season. Riegger is the first Terp to win two events in a season since 2016. He tied his career-low 54-hole score of 206 twice this season.
