
Dayne St. Clair Named To Team Canada Roster For 2026 World Cup

COLLEGE PARK, MD -- Dayne St. Clair will be representing the University of Maryland and Team Canada at the 2026 World Cup. Group play begins on Thursday, June 11 with Canada set to begin play on Friday, June 12.
An athletic shot stopper with a flair for the dramatic, St. Clair emerged as one of the best keepers in the country over his final two seasons, leading the Terps to the national championship his redshirt junior year. The Canadian Youth National Teamer made game changing saves in Maryland's Elite Eight triumph over Kentucky and in the College Cup Final against Akron. St. Clair also became an on-field leader for the Terps and a favorite among the fans for his emotional play. He will be remembered as one of the best to suit up between the sticks in College Park.
In the 2018 National Championship season, St. Clair played every minute of the campaign and did not concede a goal over the final 500 minutes of the season, including the entire NCAA Tournament. St. Clair led the nation in goalkeeper minutes that year and delivered one of the most dominant postseason performances in program history.
