
Terps Set to Attend Big Ten Football Media Days on Thursday

CHICAGO, IL – Maryland football is set to travel to Chicago on Thursday for 2026 Big Ten Football Media Days Presented by Discover. All 18 league schools will participate across the three-day format, from July 28-30, at the Hilton Chicago.
Six teams will participate each day, with the Terps going on Thursday, July 30. Maryland will be joined by Indiana, Michigan, Nebraska, Northwestern and Washington.
Along with eighth-year Head Coach Michael Locksley, the student-athletes representing the Terps at Big Ten Media Days will be senior linebacker Daniel Wingate, junior offensive lineman Michael Hershey and sophomore quarterback Malik Washington.
Big Ten Network will have live coverage throughout the event. On Thursday, Mike Hall and Jake Butt will anchor the coaches press conference coverage from 12:30-2 p.m. ET.
Four hours of live studio programming will take place each afternoon following the coaches' remarks with B1G Live: B1G Football Media Day Special from 2-6 p.m. ET featuring interviews and analysis from Dave Revsine, Rick Pizzo, Howard Griffith, Gerry DiNardo and Butt. Coaches and student-athletes from all 18 schools are scheduled to join the BTN set across the three-day event to preview the upcoming season.
Locksley's press conference will air live at 12:45 p.m. ET on Thursday and he'll join the Big Ten Network studio set at 3:15 p.m. ET. The three student-athletes will appear on the Big Ten Network studio set at 3:30 p.m. ET.
