Middleton, Morales and Sirois Take Home NECBL Championship

COLLEGE PARK -- Andrew Middleton, Antonio Morales, Jackson Sirois and the Sanford Mainers took home the NECBL Championship on Aug. 12, 2026. It was the first NECBL Championship for the Mainers since 2008.
Andrew Middleton will join the Terps this fall after spending last season at West Virginia. Due to injury, Middleton's season was cut short. Before joining West Virginia, Middleton pitching at UMass where he tossed to a 0.00 ERA over 11.2 innings in 2025.
Morales, the Terps' everyday centerfielder before losing his season to injury. In nine games, Morales hit a homer, a triple, and a double in 33 at bats.
Sirois, who hit .299 in 2026, was a kery piece of the infield for Maryland a season ago. Sirois hit two home runs with four RBI vs. Richmond on Mar. 31 for his best performance of the season.
