Luckey, McIntyre, Heaven named Maryland Women's Soccer's Big Ten Players to Watch for 2026 Season

COLLEGE PARK, MD - The Maryland Women's Soccer team received three nominees for the 2026 Big Ten Players to Watch. Goalkeeper Faith Luckey, Forward Mckinley Heaven, and Forward/Midfielder Lisa McIntyre were the three Terps nominated.
Luckey, a redshirt junior, is coming off an impressive 2025 with the Terps as the starting goalkeeper. Luckey had five clean sheets last year and tallied 88 saves in 18 games played.
Heaven, a rising sophomore, is returning from a stellar freshman season, where she played 10 games and recorded six shots, with two on target. Additionally, Heaven scored two game-winning goals vs. Indiana (9/18) and Purdue (9/21) and was named B1G Freshman of the Week (9/23).
McIntyre, a redshirt senior, is entering her fourth season with the Terps. McIntyre played in all 18 matches in 2025 and finished the season with 20 shots, 11 on target. McIntyre also scored one game-winning goal in the 2025 season.
