Koehl And Wright Named To United Soccer Coaches Midfielders To Watch List

COLLEGE PARK, MD -- Seniors Leon Koehl and Marco Wright have been selected to the 2026 NCAA Division I Men's Midfielders to Watch List from United Soccer Coaches.
A two-time All-Big Ten First Team selection (2024, 2025), Leon Koehl returns for his senior season after establishing himself as one of the conference's top midfielders. The German midfielder also earned United Soccer Coaches All-North Region Second Team honors in 2025 after totaling three goals and three assists. He was named Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week on Oct. 14 after recording a goal and an assist in Maryland's victory over Michigan, including the game-winning goal.
Marco Wright, who played his first three seasons at Campbell, was named to the All-CAA First Team in 2025 after finishing second on the team in points with 14 (five goals and four assists). Wright led Campbell with 33 shots taken a season ago and his best match of the season came against UNC Wilmington where he scored two goals on Oct. 18. Wright also scored a goal in the CAA semifinals vs. Elon. In his sophomore season, Wright led the team in assists.
