The Terps are 6-0 for the 15th time in program history after their latest win.

COLLEGE PARK, MD — The No. 7 Terps continued their incredible start to 2026 with a 5-0 win over Saint Joseph's on Sunday afternoon. Multi-goal days from Babs van Hest and Francisca Eschoyez saw Maryland improve to 6-0 for the first time since 2022 and the 15th time in program history.

The Terps jumped on the Hawks (2-4) early with a pair of first-half goals. First-year Terp van Hest scored in the opening minutes to put Maryland on the board and Eschoyez's team-leading fifth goal of the season gave the Terps a 2-0 lead to take into halftime.

Eschoyez was awarded a penalty shot early in the second half, and she buried another goal before van Hest scored her second of the day less than a minute later to put the game away. Aida Ierubino added a late goal, securing Maryland's largest win in its seven-game history against the Hawks.

Alyssa Klebasko earned her 40th win of her career with three shutout quarters before Ryleigh Osborne took over for the final 15 minutes. Maryland improved to 7-0 all-time against the Hawks. The Terps open Big Ten play on the road against Penn State on Thursday.

How it Happened:
1st Quarter:

The Terps took the lead as van Hest (3) opened the scoring in the third minute with an unassisted goal.
Maryland took its first corner in the 10th minute as Josie Hollamon put a shot on goal.
Klebasko made a save on Saint Joseph's first shot in the 15th minute.
Maryland took a 1-0 lead into the second quarter.

2nd Quarter:

Saint Joseph's recorded the first three shots of the frame.
A shot from van Hest forced a Saint Joseph's save.
Ella Fehr put a shot on goal in the 23rd minute, prompting another save.
Eschoyez (5) scored on a penalty corner in the 26th minute with assists from Maci Bradford (6) and Ella Beach (2).
The Terps led 2-0 at the half.

3rd Quarter:

Kendall Gilmore put a shot on goal in the opening minute of the half.
Eschoyez scored (6) on a penalty shot to extend the lead in the 34th minute.
Another goal from van Hest (4) put Maryland up 4-0 in the 35th minute. Ierubino assisted (1) on the goal.
Klebasko made her third save in the 40th minute.
Maryland led 4-0 after 45 minutes of play.

4th Quarter:

Beach put a shot on goal in the 47th minute.
Ierubino (3) made it 5-0 in the 49th minute.
The Terps closed out their dominant 5-0 victory.

Maryland is 6-0 for the first time since 2022 and the 15th time in program history.
