The Terps earned their third top-10 win of the season to move to 10-0 on Tuesday.

PRINCETON, NJ — The No. 2 Terps continued their incredible 2026 campaign with a 4-3 shootout win over No. 10 Princeton on Tuesday. Maryland's victory moved the Terps to 10-0 (2-0 Big Ten) for the ninth time in program history and gave Maryland its third top-10 win of 2026.

Ella Fehr and Jordyn Hollamon both scored in the shootout to give Maryland the win while Alyssa Klebasko made seven saves against the Tigers (4-4, 1-1 Ivy League). She only conceded one goal in the tense shootout. The Terps improved to 85-34 all-time in games that are decided by either overtime or a shootout.

It didn't take long for Maryland to find its groove on Tuesday as two familiar faces opened the scoring in the first quarter. Babs van Hest and Francisca Eschoyez — Maryland's two leading scorers — found the back of the cage 121 seconds apart to give the Terps a quick two-goal advantage.

After Princeton scored in the second quarter, Josie Hollamon gave the Terps their two-goal lead back in the fourth quarter, but the Tigers scored twice in the closing minutes to force overtime. Maryland outlasted Princeton with the heroic goals from Fehr and Jordyn Hollamon to stay unbeaten in 2026.

How it Happened:
1st Quarter:

Klebasko made her first save on the game's first shot in the seventh minute.
Maryland took an early lead on van Hest's goal (6) in the ninth minute, assisted by Maia Adamson (3).
Eschoyez (8) made it 2-0 with a goal in the 11th minute with assists from Maci Bradford (8) and van Hest (8).
The Terps led 2-0 after 15 minutes of action.

2nd Quarter:

Klebasko made another save in the 18th minute.
Maryland fought off a pair of Princeton corners before the Tigers scored in the 19th minute.
Klebasko made another save in the 20th minute.
The Terps put up a trio of shots in the 23rd minute.
Maryland took its 2-1 lead into the break.

3rd Quarter:

After a scoreless and shotless 15 minutes, Maryland took its 2-1 lead into the fourth quarter.

4th Quarter:

The Terps defended a Princeton corner without allowing a shot in the 46th minute.
Josie Hollamon reclaimed a two-goal lead with a goal (1) in the 49th minute.
Klebasko made two big saves during a three-corner stretch from Princeton.
The Tigers scored in the 56th minute to pull within a goal.
Princeton's Ottilie Sykes tied the game on a penalty shot in the 57th minute.
