COLLEGE PARK, MD — Each week during the 2026–27 season, a Maryland student-athlete who has demonstrated excellence both on and off the field of competition is selected as the Solomon Eye Physicians & Surgeons Terp of the Week. This week's honoree is sophomore Djuna Eikelboom.
Eikelboom played a key role in helping Maryland improve to 9-0, for the 10th time in program history.
The Terrapins defeated No. 10 Princeton, 4-3, in a shootout yesterday to improve to 10-0. The Terps return to action Sunday at noon to host Delaware on Graduation Day.
Djuna notched two goals against Rutgers for a total of four points. The sophomore scored the game-winning goal in Maryland's Big Ten Conference home opener. The performance marked her first two goals of the 2026 season.
