Two Terps In Top 10 Of ECAC Heptathlon Standings

Junior Tracy Ojeniyi and junior Amber Stanley are in the top 10 after the first day of the heptathlon competition here at the ECAC Championships.
Ojeniyi is in fifth place with a point total of 2,875 after four events. Stanley is in eighth place with 2,316 points. The final three events will take place on Saturday.
Ojeniyi posted marks of 15.47 (100 hurdles), 4-8 3/4 (high jump), 44-3 1/2 (shot put) and 26.22 (200). Stanley recorded marks of 14.56 (100 hurdles), 5-5 (high jump) and 37-4 (shot put).
The ECAC Championships, being run in conjunction with the IC4A Championships for the men, continue through Sunday.
Thirteen members of Maryland's women's track and field team are entered in this weekend's regional meet. Competing for the Terps' men's team are Phillip Barrett, Dontae Bugg and Cedrick Rogers, in addition to the 4x100 relay team.
