May 20, 2001
PRINCETON, N.J. -
Cedrick Rogers' fifth-place finish in the long jump accounted for all of Maryland's scoring this weekend at the IC4A Championships here, with the Terps finishing in a tie for 40th place with four team points.
Rogers posted a mark of 24-4 1/2 -- a season best -- in the long jump. The Terps also had non-scoring finishers in hurdlers Phillip Barrett and Dontae Bugg, who posted the 10th and 15th fastest times in prelim action but did not qualify for the finals.
The Terps' 4x100 relay team of Bugg, Harold Manning, Dave Benaderet and Rogers did not qualify for the finals.
