COLLEGE PARK, MD.- - Maryland's women's basketball team cruised past IPFW 84-50 on Saturday night at Cole Field House. The Terrapins are now 11-13 overall, while the Mastodons fall to 4-20.

Maryland led by as many as 29 in the first half and held IPFW to just 15 points. Jamecca Harrell (Oxon Hill, Md.) led all scorers in the opening stanza with 10 points, while Deedee Warley (Fort Washington, Md.) grabbed six rebounds. Points in the paint were dominated by Maryland (26-0), as were rebounds (32-18). The Terps eventually took a 44-15 lead into halftime.

The second half spelled more of the same dominance for the Terps, who ended the game shooting 51 percent from the field and outrebounding the Mastodons 56-36. Warley finished with 19 points and 12 rebounds for her third double-double of the year. Harrell also ended the night with a double-double posting 12 points and 10 rebounds. Five Terps notched double-figure scoring efforts in the outing led by Warley.

IPFW was led by Teera Dudley and Amy Gearlds, who each had 12 points.

Maryland meets Georgia Tech in its next contest, a Valentine's Day showdown at Cole Field House. The game will be a 7:30 p.m. start on Thursday, Feb. 14.
