The University of Maryland women's lacrosse team will play host this weekend to the 2002 ACC/Big Ten Challenge. The four-game event will take place at Ludwig Field this Friday and Sunday and will feature games between the Terps and North Carolina of the ACC, and Penn State and Ohio State of the Big Ten Conference.
Play will kick off tonight at 5:00 p.m. when fifth-ranked North Carolina will take on 19th-ranked Ohio State. Following that game, the seventh-ranked Terrapins will square off with No. 11 Penn State. The estimated draw time is 7:00 p.m.
Sunday's games will begin at 11:00 a.m. with the Terps and Buckeyes opening things up. The tourney will conclude with a 1:00 p.m. game between the Tar Heels and Nittany Lions.
