COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Four members of Maryland's 2001 ACC championship football team have signed free agent contracts with NFL teams this week.

Those signing include wide receiver Guilian Gary (Carolina Panthers), quarterback Shaun Hill (Minnesota Vikings), linebacker Aaron Thompson (Houston Texans) and cornerback Tony Okanlawon (San Diego Chargers).

This past weekend, three Terps were selected in the NFL's annual draft: center Melvin Fowler (third round, Cleveland Browns), defensive lineman Charles Hill (third round, Houston Texans) and tight end Matt Murphy (seventh round, Detroit Lions).
