Terrapin Student-Athletes to Conduct Food Drive

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The University of Maryland Student-Athlete Advisory Council will hold its second canned food drive of the year at the Homecoming football game with North Carolina on Saturday, Nov. 1. Student-athletes will be stationed with collection bins at each entrance to Byrd Stadium as fans enter for the noon kickoff.
All canned-food donations benefit the Capitol Area Food Bank in Washington, D.C.
The SAAC collected nearly a half-ton of canned food at Midnight Madness earlier this month.
